Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, on Monday hosted prominent figures of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Asaba, the state capital.
The political leaders were in the state to participate in the Renewed Hope Ambassadors South South Zonal Summit.
Among those in attendance were the Governors of Imo and Yobe States, Hope Uzodimma and Mai Mala Buni, as well as the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.
During the event, Okowa, who serves as the South South Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, called for increased support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The summit also drew the presence of the Delta State Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, members of the State House of Assembly led by the Speaker, Emomotimi Guwor, members of the National Assembly, the State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, and other dignitaries.
