Information reaching us has it that the purported candidature of Chief Mao Ohuabunwa suffered a set back yesterday, as a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has fixed March 25,2015 for judgement to disqualify the PDP candidate from the race.
Senator Uche Chukwumerije had shortly after the PDP kangoroo primaries in Abia State, seek legal redress asking the court to declare the alleged primaries and candidature of Ohuabunwa as null and void.
Speaking under condition of anonymity, a stakeholder in Abia Senatorial district stated that intra party crisis in PDP and failure of Governor Orji’s administration to make life meaningful for Abians, will make the party lose the Senatorial seat in the forthcoming poll.
