Chairmen of three Transport Unions in Osisioma has appealed to the Abia State Government to ensure that every commencial driver in Osisioma makes use of the Osisioma Motor Park instead of Osisioma Flyover.
Hon Augustine Uruakpa, Ogadinma Nwalaocha and Chiemela Ahamba who are Chairmen of Coperatiaves, RTEAN and NARTO motor unions are dismissed the reported extortion of some drivers in Osisioma which they said was not true and called on the public to discard the accusations made by two drivers in Umuahia.
They said the regular Union fee which was before now 9000 was reduced to 3000 due to the rising cost of living in the country.
The United Drivers Chairmen who spoke with our correspondent also said the drivers who made the allegations were not authorized to speak on behalf of the Aba United Drivers
