Aisha Yesufu, a human rights activist and social critic, declared on Monday that the nation has entered a revolutionary state.
Her remarks come after residents of Abuja’s Dei-Dei neighborhood attacked and looted a vehicle that was transporting food on Monday morning.
Remember that over the weekend, a truck and warehouse in Abuja that carried food goods were looted?
When the mob have finished attacking trucks, Yesufu stated in a post on her X account that they will target estates and homes after warehouses and shops.
“When they are done attacking trucks, they will start with warehouses and shops then estates and houses.
“The revolution has started,” she wrote.
Recall that it was reported on Sunday that some residents of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, looted a warehouse allegedly belonging to the National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria, NEMA, over the current economic hardship across the country.
It was gathered that the residents carted away foodstuffs and other items.
