The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announced on Friday that Manu Garba will lead the Golden Eaglets, the nation’s U-17 team.
Garba is returning to the role after leading the Golden Eaglets to the FIFA U-17 World Cup victory in 2013.
The former Nigerian international will take up the position right away and be in charge of getting the side ready for the WAFU B U-17 Championship in Ghana.
Next month is when the tournament will take place.
The Africa U-17 Cup of Nations qualifier will be held in conjunction with the WAFU tournament.
In the most recent competition, which Algeria hosted, the Golden Eaglets were eliminated in the quarterfinals.
