Despite being called the most mistreated person in the state, Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara has maintained his composure in the face of severe provocation.

But because he opposes turmoil, he advised the citizens of the state to maintain their composure and let peace reign.

The governor’s statement was based on the foundation of his disagreement with Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and his predecessor.

Wike and Fubara have been at odds over the state’s resources and political power.

The governor declared that his foes had been vanquished during the cold war, even with President Bola Tinubu’s assistance.

He pointed out that his state’s political competitors were now restless and slept with their eyes open.

Nevertheless, Fubara stated the following on Thursday at the flag-off of Elele-Omoku Road construction: “As a matter of fact, I am the most abused, ‘mumu governor wey no know wetin to do with power,’ Is it not?

“Have I said anything? So, please just endure until when you finish you go your way, I don’t want any trouble.”

The governor vowed never to allow his detractors to cause political tension in the state.

Fubara disclosed assuring Tinubu that he would take the path of peace and not renege on the promise.
