A Chieftain of the Labour Party(LP) in Abia State Hon Destiny Nwagwu has dismissed the statement credited to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu that APC will take over Abia State Government House come 2027 and declared it as an ‘impossible reality”.
Addressing a Press Conference in Aba on Monday, the Labour Party Chieftain said no right thinking Abian will cast his or her vote for APC to takeover the Abia State Government House.
According to him, the policies of the Federal Government under President Bola Tinubu has inflicted hardship on Nigerians which he said will affect the chances of the APC in Abia State and the entire South.
The Party Chieftain advised the Deputy Speaker not to arrogate the power of God to himself by proclaiming that this is the last time Labour Party will govern Abia State.
“Only God and Abians made Dr Alex Otti Governor, Let no man arrogate undue powers to himself to avoid God’s wrath”
“The Statement credited to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives is most unfortunate but no right thinking Abian will vote for the APC to take over the Government House in 2027”
“It will be Impossible for anyone or any Political Party to unseat Dr Alex Otti having seen his transformational projects scattered all over the state”

Hon Nwagwu appreciated Governor Alex Otti for his transformational Leadership in Abia and urged him to ignore political distractors.
