The House has started looking into the claims of a N15 million bribe involving the controversial transvestite Idris Okuneye, often known as Bobrisky.

The House Committees on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions convened a hearing, which started at approximately 2:05 p.m. when Martins Otse, a.k.a. VeryDarkMan, and his attorney, Deji Adeyanju, arrived.

Recall that the controversy erupted after VeryDarkMan published a voice recording purporting to be that of Bobrisky, alleging EFCC agents wanted N15 million in order to drop the money laundering accusation against him.

Bobrisky implicated the Nigerian Correctional Services when he said in the audio that he never spent a day in jail following his conviction and that his godfather made arrangements for him to do his time in a lodge rather than a jail.

But Bobrisky did not show up for the hearing at the time this report was filed; instead, his attorney attended on his behalf.

More details to come..
