Hon Chris Nkwonta would have made more impact swelling the ranks of Labour Party at the national level, for these reasons:

The Labour Party has been actively promoting positive change in Abia State. Infrastructural Development is one key area of focus, with the party advocating for improved roads, healthcare facilities, and education infrastructure. Additionally, Youth Empowerment initiatives have been launched to equip young people with essential skills, entrepreneurship training, and job opportunities. Agricultural Development is another crucial area, with the Labour Party promoting programs to enhance food security and economic growth. Healthcare Reforms are also on the agenda, with efforts to improve funding and access to quality healthcare. Furthermore, Education Revitalization is a priority, emphasizing investments in schools and teacher training to provide quality education.

Nationally, the Labour Party is committed to Promoting Good Governance, advocating for transparency, accountability, and effective leadership. Economic Reforms are also a key focus, supporting policies aimed at economic growth, job creation, and poverty reduction. The party champions Social Justice, advocating for gender equality, human rights, and social protection. Anti-Corruption Efforts are high on the agenda, with calls for stringent measures to combat corruption. Constitutional Reforms are also supported to strengthen Nigeria’s democracy and federalism.

The Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has outlined a comprehensive agenda. This includes Economic Restructuring to prioritize production and exports, Enhanced Security to tackle insecurity and improve national security, Improved Education and Healthcare through investments in quality services, Good Governance and Anti-Corruption through transparency and accountability, and Youth and Women Empowerment through education, skills, and economic opportunities.
