A Former Deputy Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly Rt Hon Ifeanyi Uchendu has warned a Former Commissioner for Information in Abia State Mr John Okiyi Kalu to stop attacking the Executive Governor of Abia State Dr Alex Otti and his government in the Media
In a statement on Friday in Umuahia, the Former Deputy Speaker and member who Represented Ohafia South State Constituency between 2015-2023 at the Abia State House of Assembly Rt Hon Ifeanyi Uchendu urged the former Commissioner and his media gang to stop distracting the Government of Dr Alex Otti.
“John Okiyi Kalu and those who share your views, this message is for you: You are not the only opposition in Abia State. If you think the situation is bad enough to justify attacks, you have not seen the true challenges we face in our constituency by our representative. We will respond or attack when the time is right, but for now, leave Governor Otti’s administration alone. Stop attacking and distracting him. Let’s come together in support of this government and pray for its success, because if they succeed, all Abians will benefit, and Abia will progress”
“I also want to make it clear: Do not destabilize or attack this government, especially when they are already facing pressure in Abia. No one knows who is behind these attacks. Governor Okezie Ikpeazu is a man of peace, and he would never sponsor any attack on this administration. He is both a father figure and a personal friend, and if he wanted me to join in opposing this government, he would have asked me—but he hasn’t”
“I urge you and all those involved to leave Governor Alex Otti’s administration alone. For the sake of the state, let’s support them and pray for their success” the statement concluded
