Uyo, January 10, 2025 – The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, Ph.D, has approved the dissolution of the State Executive Council (EXCO), effective today, January 10, 2025.
This was announced in a press release issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, under the directive SSG/AKS/18/VOL.I/61. The dissolution affects all Honorable Commissioners and Special Advisers, who are directed to hand over to their respective Permanent Secretaries or the most senior director in ministries without Permanent Secretaries.
Governor Eno expressed gratitude to the outgoing council members for their dedicated service and contributions to the development of the state. He extended his best wishes to them in their future endeavors.
