The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) to dismantle what it described as unlawful campaign materials promoting President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
In a statement issued by the party’s Interim National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC accused the ruling party of prioritising political campaigns over addressing Nigeria’s pressing economic and security challenges.
Abdullahi alleged that the country’s economic indicators have worsened since Tinubu assumed office, while the APC has failed to tackle the ongoing power sector crisis.
“For months now, organs of the APC have staged rallies and unveiled billboards endorsing President Tinubu for a second term from Abuja to Port Harcourt, Minna, Kano, and Akure,” he said.
