Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has declared that the African Democratic Congress ADC is positioned to make major political gains ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Atiku who officially registered as a member of the ADC on Thursday in Yola Adamawa State made the declaration in a post on X on Friday.
The former VP also shared photographs of himself receiving his membership card along with a customised Waziri 01 jersey.
The brief but symbolic registration ceremony attracted a large crowd of supporters party leaders and community stakeholders.
Reaffirming the growing strength of the party Atiku noted that the ADCs nationwide mobilisation was well underway.
“Yesterday the ADC train made a stopover in Jalingo for the unveiling of the Taraba State secretariat of the Coalition Party. There’s no stopping the ADC it is heading your way” Atiku wrote on X.
