The Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Professor Ngozi Nma Odu, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress, APC, after completing her party registration in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA) of the state.

Odu registered as a member of the APC at Ward 8, Unit 11, in Akabuka town.

Her decision to join the ruling party comes shortly after Governor Siminalayi Fubara also defected to the APC.

Speaking during a tour of the six zones of ONELGA, organized to sensitize residents and party members on the ongoing APC electronic registration exercise, the deputy governor urged citizens to register massively.

She called on party supporters to give their full backing to President Bola Tinubu and Governor Fubara, stressing the importance of strengthening the APC’s grassroots base ahead of future elections.
