The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, has announced plans to arraign former Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El Rufai, alongside Joel Adoga, at the Federal High Court of Nigeria in the Kaduna Judicial Division on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
The notice was signed by John Okor Odey, Head of Media and Public Communications, on Monday.
According to the statement, the case, filed under suit number FHC KD 73 2026, involves charges including conversion and possession of public property, as well as money laundering.
The Commission also disclosed that a separate charge has been filed against El Rufai and Amadu Sule LEDA at the Kaduna State High Court under case number KDH KAD ICPC 01 26.
The charges in the second case include abuse of office, fraud, intent to commit fraud, and conferring undue advantage, among others.
Both cases were filed by the ICPC on March 18, 2026.
While the date for El Rufai’s arraignment at the State High Court will be announced in due course, the Commission confirmed that he has been duly served.
The ICPC reiterated its commitment to due process and the rule of law in the handling of its cases.
