The Lagos Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has again arraigned social media influencer and self styled relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, over an alleged N69.1 million fraud.
Blessing CEO was brought before Justice R.A. Oshodi of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, on a two count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and stealing involving a total sum of N69,150,000.
At the commencement of proceedings on Tuesday, prosecution counsel, C.C. Okezie, urged the court to proceed with the arraignment, maintaining that the defendant had been duly served with the charge.
In response, defence counsel, Nkama Nneka, informed the court that service of the charge had only recently been effected on her client.
Delivering a ruling on the matter, Justice Oshodi held that the arraignment should proceed in accordance with the law, after which the charges were read to the defendant.
The latest development comes weeks after Blessing CEO was first arraigned by the EFCC on May 15, 2026, over a separate allegation involving N36 million in alleged fraud.
The anti graft agency has continued its prosecution as the matter proceeds before the court.
