The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate for Abia State, Chief Eric C. Opah, has paid a consultation visit to the State Director of the CityBoy Movement, Abia State Chapter, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, as part of his ongoing engagement with key stakeholders within the party.
Chief Opah was accompanied by his running mate, Dr. Godswill Agu Egbe, the Director-General of the Eric Opah Campaign Organization, Chief Charles Ogbonna, and other members of his campaign team.
Receiving the delegation, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe commended the APC governorship candidate for prioritizing consultation and engagement with party stakeholders, describing the move as a demonstration of inclusive leadership and a commitment to strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State.
He noted that continuous consultation remains vital to fostering unity and building a stronger political structure ahead of future electoral activities.
Mayor Igbokwe also offered prayers for Chief Opah, asking God to grant him wisdom, strength, divine direction, and favour as he continues his consultations across the state.
The State Director reaffirmed the commitment of the CityBoy Movement to the ideals of the APC and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, describing the movement as one of the party’s strongest grassroots support structures in Abia State.
According to him, through sustained grassroots mobilization, discipline, and commitment, the CityBoy Movement has continued to grow into a formidable political force within the APC.
He further expressed confidence that the movement would continue to play a strategic role in shaping the future of the party while urging APC members across the state to remain united and focused on strengthening the party.
