
Engr. Frank Ugochukwu, the personal photographer to the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has been honoured with an African Union Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Award in recognition of his contributions to youth development and humanitarian service.
The prestigious honour was conferred on July 22, 2026, during the African Union Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Assembly, where Engr. Ugochukwu was recognised for his philanthropic initiatives and commitment to empowering young people in Nigeria and across Africa.
According to the organisers, the award acknowledges his outstanding achievements and dedication to promoting the ideals of the African Union’s Agenda 2063, particularly through initiatives that positively impact youths within and outside the political space.
As part of the honour, Engr. Ugochukwu received an Ambassadorial Certificate, a commemorative plaque, an ambassadorial medal, official identification, diplomatic lapel insignia, Diplomatic Passport and a customised AU Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial plate number.
The recognition places him among distinguished Africans entrusted with promoting the vision of “The Africa We Want,” as encapsulated in the African Union’s Agenda 2063 framework.
Speaking after receiving the honour, Engr. Franklin Ugochukwu expressed gratitude to the organisers for the recognition, describing it as a call to greater service and renewed commitment to humanitarian causes, youth empowerment, and the advancement of Africa’s development agenda.
