The Member Representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Amobi Ogah, has awarded full scholarships to 54 indigenes of the constituency to support their education from Year One through to their final year through the Hon Amobi Ogah Education Foundation
The scholarship award was formally presented to the beneficiaries during an event held at the Ogah Family Auditorium, Abia State University, Uturu by the DG Dr Promise Udeh
The beneficiaries are students of the Abia State College of Health and Management Technology, Aba, who will benefit from the scholarship throughout the duration of their academic programmes.
The initiative is aimed at reducing the financial burden of education on the beneficiaries and their families while providing young people from Isuikwuato/Umunneochi with an opportunity to acquire professional qualifications in health and management-related fields.
The presentation of the scholarship award letters marked another intervention by Hon. Amobi Ogah in the area of human capital development, particularly in supporting students from his federal constituency to pursue their education without the added burden of tuition and other academic expenses.
The beneficiaries and their families expressed appreciation to the lawmaker for the gesture, describing the scholarship as an investment in the future of the young people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency.
