The residents of Aba community have endorsed the State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu as their sole candidate for 2019 Governorship election in the State.
Speaking at Aba Town Hall during a solidarity rally held in honour of the Governor by the Aba South Local Government Area,some stakeholders of Aba South extraction, including Honourable Clinton Ebere, Prof. Ikechi Mgboji, Mazi Thedesus Izuogu and Honourable Emmanuel Emeruwa, thanked the Governor for fixing Aba roads and many other giant strides of his administration.
They said that based on his achievements so far, they have endorsed him for a second tenure in office. The political stakeholders also thanked the Governor for appointing their sons to positions of authority.
Also contributing, representatives of non indigenes resident in Aba, including Chief J.C Mbonu, Dr. Mike Okoro among others, appreciated the accommodating spirit of the Governor which made him to appoint non indigenes to serve in his administration.
They vowed to ensure that their people would get voters card which they will use to vote Dr. Okezie. Ikpeazu again come 2019.
Responding, the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu thanked the people for hosting him.
He told them that his caterpillar revolution is focusing on Osusu Road and Omuma road, promising to deliver good quality roads.
Dr. Ikpeazu,also assured that Obohia and Ohanko roads would also be built while stating that under his watch, Port-Harcourt road will bounce back to life.
