The All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA) has Suspended a Chieftain of the Party and Senatorial Candidate of the Party in the 2015 National Assembly election for Abia Central Chief Ahamdi Nweke.
The Suspension was announced by the embattled State Chairman of APGA in Abia State Rev Augustine Ehiemere at the Party Office in Umuahia on Thursday.
The State Chairman said that Chief Nweke was Suspended for claiming that National Working Commitee of the Party empowered him to” suspend the Chairman for embezzling the 2015 Funds of APGA”.
He also said the Part uncovered an underground plot by Chief Nweke to hijack and handover the structures of the Party to the PDP in Abia.
According to Rev Ehiemere,Chief Nweke is to appear before a Panel that has been set up to Investigate Him.
