The Nigerian Police Force is not happy with Rev Paul Emeka,a Dismissed Former General Superintendent of Assemblies Of God Nigeria over last week Newspaper Publication which dragged the name of the Inspector General Of Police Mr Ibrahim Idris to a Purported Petition against some Leaders of Assemblies Of God Nigeria.
In the Newspaper Publication which was Sponsored by Rev Paul Emeka through one of his Lawyers Barr Dike, few papers that ran the story said the Inspector General Of Police will be meeting with Pension Looters on the 24th of January 2017 at Force Headquarters in Abuja.
Specifically the names of the General Superintendent of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor and the General Treasurer were maligned in that Publication by DAILY TRUST NEWSPAPERS AND NIGERIAN PILOT NEWSPAPER.
PUO REPORTS gathered that the Leader of the Police Team handling the petition written by Paul Emeka’s Lawyer was not happy that they went to Press even when the team has not carried Investigation into the allegations raised in the Petition.
After the response of the Church to the allegations raised in the papers,Barr Dike reached out to the Police team again, claiming that people who refused honouring Police Invitation went to Press, but the Police Team Leader responded that the Church was in Order to respond to the allegations against its Leaders.
The Team Leader reportedly told Paul Emeka’s Lawyer that Instead of coming to the Police For Complain,he should go back to the same Media he used last week.
