ohanaeze Youths sue for peace and unity
The leadership of three different groups met in Abakiliki and discussed extensively on the choice of Peter Obi as Atiku running mate and non consultation of Governors and PDP leaders in south East and after their resolutions paid a solidarity visit to the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide led by mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro,and read their resolutions as follows:
(1) We , the Igbo students forum,World Igbo Youth Council, Southeast Women Professionals, jointly dismiss the insinuation the South East is divided on the choice of Peter Obi as Atiku running mate and that it will affect the fortune of PDP in the Presidential election is false and untrue but it has strengthened Southeast to be behind the choice of Peter Obi as a consensus and collective aspirations of Ndigbo especially the Igbo students, youths and women.
(2) Irrespective that we are not against Atiku Consulting the South East PDP leaders over the choice of Peter Obi, which is the most acceptable way under democracy, but we wonder rhetorically, if there have been Town hall meetings in various States of South East, before South East Governors chooses their Deputy Governors in their various States, or was there any local consultations in search of Deputy Governors during the just concluded Primaries.
(3) We believed that PDP South East leaders should be mindful of their resolutions before the public as it will be misunderstood by other tribes and zones that Igbo’s cannot manage their successes and electoral fortunes which had been the bane of our progress since 1999, and we should not allow our personal interest override our collective interest.
(4) We urge Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide to champion the reconciliatory move to Unite the South East over the choice of Peter Obi as Atiku visit South East in the Future

While reacting to the resolutions of these coalition of Igbo Groups,the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide assured the groups that Nobody gives power except God Almighty, and PDP leaders in the South East are not divided over Peter Obi, and Obi emergence was divine and act of God, We will reach out to Religious leaders,Traditional Rulers,Pro Biafra agitators and Igbo leadership and leaders of thought to ensure that everyone is queuing behind the Divine Choice of Peter Obi as Atiku running mate.
Very soon after the meeting of South East Governors And PDP leaders with Atiku, the world will see that Your efforts to ensure nobody changes the Divine choice of Peter Obi as Atiku running mate is irreversible and its consensus.we Urge everyone to be law abiding as Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide will restore peace among every interests .
