The Security Details attached to a Former Governor of Abia State Dr Orji Uzor Kalu on Wednesday fired gun shots on Protesting Youths during a botched Political Rally in Ihechiowa,Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State.
PUO Reports gathered that the bullet hit a Youth who has been rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Umuahia.
Orji Uzor Kalu the Candidate of the All Progressive Congress for Abia North Senatorial District who has vowed to take the seat at all Cost.
It was gathered that the Youths in the Area had warned the Former Governor to stay clear of Arochukwu Area where the current Senator Mao Ohuabunwa hails from,because according to them,Arochukwu will Support their Son come February 16 2019.
PUO reports exclusively learnt that while the Former Governor and his entourage entered Ihechiowa for a Rally,the Youths Protested which made the Police attached to Dr Orji Uzor Kalu to fire Live Bullets to scare them away.
But when PUO REPORTS Contacted Mr Maduka Okoro,the Media Aide to Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, he dismissed the story but said the shots were rather fired by the Youths before the Security Details attached to Dr Orji Uzor Kalu fired into the air.
“PUO its not true, intact the Guys were the once who attacked our Convoy and the fires the shots”
“The Shots we fired was fired into the air,and Nobody was hit by the Bullet ”
“These people are actually the attackers, Yesterday they came to Abam to attack us as they did Today” He Said.
