The Court of Appeal in Enugu has affirmed that Ayogu Eze is the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
In a unanimous decision, Justice Abdul Aboki upheld the appeal filed by Ayogu Eze, praying the court to recognise him as the candidate of the party.
Justice Aboki also set aside the judgment of Justice Iyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court Abuja who had earlier ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to replace him with one Barrister George Ogara as the APC governorship candidate in the state.
