The General Council of Assemblies Of God Nigeria on Thursday held an Investiture for the 2019 Ambassadorial Nominees of Assemblies Of God Nigeria.
Speaking at the Evangel Camp Okpoto, Venue of the Investiture,the General Superintendent Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor while Addressing the awardees said they were selected after considering their impacts to the Growth of Assemblies of God Nigeria.
Dr Okoroafor uged them to be Vanguard of the Assemblies Of God Nigeria.
“It will be out of order for Assemblies of God to lose her History, by August 1934 a Few Members started the movement that is now a much room Assemblies Of God Nigeria”
“No sane Person Secular or Sacra can quantify Assemblies of God as a Mushroom Church, Assemblies of God is a Muchroom Church”
“Today we are Witnesses of the great outcome of such a great Movement”
The General Superintendent said the activities of Business Men and Women led to the planting of more Assemblies Of God Churches.
“It is pertinent that I use this Opportunity to eulogize the Vision of our Living Legend,the great Father of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Dr Charles Osueke for initiating the Recognition of our great men and women as Ambassadors”
Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor enumerated the following as Consideration before an Ambassador is awarded to Members.
Loyalty to The Denomination,Contributions to the growth of the larger Society,Stable Family and moral Life,Domestic and External Testimonies ,among others.
“You are here because we have confidence in you and your Performability” He Said.
The General Secretary of Assemblies of God Nigeria Rev Dr Godwin AMAOWOH,General Treasurer Rev Dr Vincent ALAJE,Vice Chancellor Of Evangel University Prof I U Kalu,AMB Emma IROEGBU who presented separate papers urged the Awardees to be worthy Ambassadors.
The Award Proper comes up Tomorrow at Evangel Camp Okpoto.
