*OPEN LETTER TO MUHAMMADU BUHARI, PRESIDENT FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA!*
Sir,
*WE DEMAND FOR EQUITY IN ABIA NDDC JOBS.*
We, the members of ABIA VANGUARD FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE (AVGG), wishes to use this medium to congratulate you on your victory on the just concluded election.
Sir, before the election, We were of the opinion that you have worked very hard to put this Country on the path of greatness from its lost glory and a such, deserve a resound re-election support from every part of the country. Your victory, didn’t come as a surprise to well meaning Nigerians. We say congratulations to the deserved victory.
We want to crave your indulgence with the issues that surrounds the NIger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) jobs in Abia. As it was earlier structured, Abia is one of the States that has a commissioner representative in the above commission. But the internal Structure of the NDDC office in Abia, which has been enjoyed by just a particular Local Government since the time of the creation of the commission, is becoming unacceptable by other zones of the State.
In a case where the zone, didn’t even support your re-election bid, which was so glaring in the result of the Presidential election, yet, they are doing all to keep enjoying the Office of the commission which will have the endorsement of the Presidency, is unacceptable by the good people of Abia. They shouldn’t partake in the good of a government they never supported.
In our amiable National Chairman’s word in one of your campaigns, he said that we should deliver and demand.
There are other viable and sound aspirants of that office from other zones in Abia who will perform better when appointed, especially, from zones that actually worked for the APC party.
We hereby, pray, that you should use your good office to address this injustice, being perpetrated by a particular zone, against other zones in Abia State as regards the NDDC job slots and the coming appointments.
Thank You Sir,
God Bless President Muhammadu Buhari
God Bless Abia State
God Bless Federal Republic of Nigeria
