With 15 Local Government Areas collated and declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) for the Rivers State Governorship Election, Rivers State Governor and PDP Governorship Candidate, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike is coasting to victory.
State Returning Officer and Deputy Vice Chancellor, Federal University, Otuoke, Prof Teddy Adias has announced that the Collation and Declaration will resume on Tuesday by 10am.
After 15 Local Government Areas, Governor Wike has polled 426,279 votes while Biokpomabo Awara of AAC polled 129,328 votes.
Governor Wike is leading his closest challenger Biokpomabo Awara with 296,951 votes.
Local Government Areas already collated include: PHALGA,Ikwerre, Andoni, Oyigbo , Eleme, Akuku Toru,Opobo/ Nkoro, Omuma, Okirika, Bonny , Emohua, ONELGA, Etche, Ahoada East and Tai .
