Agu Chisom Samuel, Comr. Eme Udochukwu Prince and Solomon Akuma all from Abia State Nigeria has made it to the 2019 Youth Diplomacy Summit in Accra Ghana.
The international youth diplomacy summit is an innovation of model United Nations conference that brings together youths from across Africa to discuss pertinent issues of global interest. It is a simulation of the United Nations General Assembly, Security Council and other agencies under the United Nations.
Focusing on youth empowerment for sustainable development, the international youth diplomacy conference connects youths from across Africa and the globe and stimulates relationship among them as aimed in achieving the sustainable development goals(SDGs).
It is expected that the delegates from abia state leverage on the opportunity to put Abia State on the spot light for global interventions geared towards achieving the sustainable development goals in the state and Nigeria at large.
However, the program is not fully funded as the delegates are expected to pay for the summit registration which covers for the conference materials and other travel insurance.
They solicited the support of the Abia State Government to enable them in the Trip.
“We humbly solicit for the support of Abia State Government, Legislatures in different levels and all Abians to enable us put Abia on the spot light of excellence”
