The Lawmaker Representing Ogu-Bolo State Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly Hon Evans Bipi yesterday resceud the Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress Hon. Asita O Asita and the Secretary of the party in the state Chief Emeka Bekee from Mob lynching yesterday in Ogu-Bolo.
The angry Youths who were said to be members of the All Progressives Congress in Ogu-Bolo were protesting at Rally organised by the Ogu-Bolo chapter of the APC yesterday which had in attendance the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party.
PUO REPORTS Learnt that the Leadership of the party in the Area abadoned the Youths after using them during the general elections without fulfilling the agreement reached between party and the angry Youths.
The event which was supposed to be a defection one, turned violent when the Youths barricaded the Field of the event vowing that the party must pay them of, or bear the consequences.
It was gathered that Information reached the Lawmaker Representing the Area in the state House of Assembly Hon Evans Bipi who quickly pleaded with the Youths not to go violent before calmness returned at the venue of the APC Rally.
Bipi while reacting on the Development in a Telephone interview said it was unfortunate that the APC could use the Youths of his Constituency to achieve their aim without settling them.
He further advised the APC not to turn a peaceful Ogu-Bolo into a violent Area with its desperation for Power
