The decision of the Rivers State National Assembly Election petition to adopt the Deadly campaign inciting speech of the Controversial former Nigeria’s First Lady Dame Faka Jonathan in the case of Hon Barry Mpigi of the All Progressive Congress(APC) Vs Jacobson Mbina of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP)in the Eleme/Tai/Oyigbo Federal Constituency has put the former First Lady into Trouble
At Saturdays Sitting the Tribunal admitted into evidence a number of publications in notable national dailies certified by the National Library of Nigeria in which the former First Lady of Nigeria, Dame Patience Jonathan asked the people of South-South to stone anybody who comes to them and shout the word “change”.
The tribunal also admitted a report of Tele Ikuru, former Deputy Governor of Rivers State in which he said on the day he was decamping to PDP” even if it requires the shedding of blood, Rivers people must vote for PDP and fight against APC”.
Considering the fact that 98 persons were murdered in Rivers State because of the elections, it is becoming clear that some people will some day answer the call of the International Criminal Court, ICC.
Recall that the controversial former First Lady had during a rally in Calabar encouraged the people of South to stone anyone who shouts Change, because only conductors are the one’s demanding for change
