When you collude with INEC and the Police to rig a purported election with an intention to annihilate, desecrate and decimate a people, that is impunity and rascality….and the people will rise and resist it.This sweltering period of Rivers APC’s legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of justice in Rivers state.
We will not retreat nor surrender. All National and state Assembly seats were purportedly won by the then opposition PDP when the then state government including the State assembly and Local government was fully APC; what a pooh pooh? who will believe that trash! Glory be to INEC and the Nigerian Police and army for aiding the punitive and nomadic rigging. But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt.

The last governorship/state and National Assembly shambolic and kangaroo election will never stand the test of time. Soon it will crumble and crash like a pack of card and Rivers people will have another opportunity to credibly vote and select there leaders. Our lawyers are already doing good jobs at the tribunal.
The election must not stand because the souls and blood of the innocent people killed during the “war” called election are crying for justice! Children and women whose fathers and husbands were killed are also crying for justice. People who lost valuable properties are also crying for justice. And they must get justice.
One man’s ambition plunged Rivers state into a theatre of war and we cannot allow this wickedness to stand. No, it cannot stand as long as somebody is busy abusing and accusing Rotimi Amaechi instead of settling down to work. It cannot stand as long as the State legislative chamber is an appendage of the governor.

Most perturbing is the effort they are making to frustrate justice at the tribunal in connivance with the Police and INEC. If the election stands, Rivers people and indeed posterity will never forgive us! If the election stands, my Riverine Ijaw brothers will be extinguished politically and economically. If the election stands, the Ogonis will be vanquished politically and economically. If this election stands, equity will be dead in Rivers State. If this election stands, impunity, militancy and crude rascality will be legalized in Rivers State. If this election stands, the youths of Rivers State will forever remain in a digital bondage.

It is not all about Rotimi Amaechi and Dakuku Peterside! It is not all about APC! It is all about our very survival and collective patrimony. Rivers people must rise up and challenge this obnoxious system that is determined to manacle and shackle our political and economic destiny. It is either we rise up together or fall together.

No lie can live forever. Truth crushed to the earth will rise again. Truth forever on the scaffold and wrong forever on the throne yet that scaffold sways the future. And behind the dim unknown Stands God within the shadow, keeping watch over His own.
Go out and prepare for a rerun election. Justice must prevail in Rivers State.
