On Monday 16th March, 2015, we exposed the ordeal going on in BCA knowing so well that we will be attacked by the deluded miscreants on facebook receiving 5,000.00 monthly to go after anybody that writes article against their shameless paymasters. We have nothing against these teenagers because they were misinformed and in due course they will understand that we are exposing these rots to save their futures too.
One funny thing about these miscreants was that they succeeded in diverting the attention of some gullible readers from the facts in the story. Yes it was expected because we gave them pre information and their masters told them what to do. We even sent the article to their boss to review before publishing it openly. It was when they couldn’t give us any reasonable answer why they should abandon BCA that made us let the cat out of bag.
We received complains that one of online facebook pages that were permitted to air the story later deleted the post because the facebook e-rats of the e-governance ministry diverted them too from the facts without forensic investigation of the pictures. Their cheap reason was that we didn’t mention that BCA has a glorified flat apartment which they called Ultra modern complex that cannot even accommodate BCA equipment and their staffs. Or should it be that they were threaten to put the exposition in darkness from their page. We are yet to establish any serious reason why the admin of the said page as one of the optimistic pages known for people’s oriented news should be whisked into falling for cheap naïve comments of deluded minds even when they credited the story to Digits Tabloid. It is obvious that anyone reading the news should know where to direct his grievances.
The cars are there, the gen house office is there, every picture we shown are still there. One can easily go and check.
We want the general public to know that we stick by the facts in the article and they are open for forensic verification. We call Abians to ignore and forgive these boys because they are just being misguided.
Yes we said that there is one picture they are parading as New BCA office and if the office actually exists and fit what stops BCA staffs from moving into it with all their dead equipments. It contained in the article and other painstaking facts which need responses.
We are very elated that BCA staffs who read our exposition thanked us and we will be reposting this news until the right things are done for them. Less we forget, the facts in the news read hereunder:
1. About 3.3 Billion is either stolen, unaccounted or misappropriated in BCA starting from May 29 2007 till now as a result of diversion of 35 Million Naira out of 65 Million supposed monthly subventions.
2. BCA Staffs are being owed for more than 2 Months still unwarranted promotion has been going on.
3. BCA staffs check-off taxes that means they are not remitting revenue or taxes and it has piled up to over 70 Million Naira
4. BCA is suffering bearish income level or revenue leakages with monthly turnover below 5 Millions unlike before 2007. Since they don’t receive pays for some services they rendered, we have to guesstimate that BCA has lost 1.5 Billion Naira from 2007 to March 2015.
5. We also exposed that no equipment is inside OB van parked outside the premises, upon huge amount spent in purchasing it. In fact they renamed the OB Van to Titto Shrine.
6. BCA has 4 rickety vehicles which have almost turned into mobile coffins. We asked why an Organization like BCA cannot have good vehicles upon the amount alleged to be investing therein.
7. BCA night duties staffs are being expose to danger because they don’t have any staff bus or car to take them home which made us asked if the government really have any concern about their securities.
8. BCA is using a face out analogue transmitter while others states are using digital and we asked why our government should waste our fund in obsolete transmitter disserted by Akwaibo government. Akwa Ibom is 4 years older than Abia State but has recorded monumental developments in all ramifications as a result of good leadership.
9. Contract of 500 Million Naira digitalization was approved by state government to meet up with June NBC digitalization transmitting deadline and we asked why the Job has not started even when June is fast approaching. Should we help wondering that it has been diverted for campaign as publicly rumoring?
10. BCA is using a 24 years old generator bought during the creation of Abia State and we asked what stops the state government from buying new one upon their shouting of legacy projects.
11. BCA TV studio was abandoned and left unequipped because it was built by former governor Dr. Orji Kalu and we want to know why our governor should use as a result personal rift he has with his predecessor and abandoned a laudable investment made for service enhancement of the station.
12. BCA plant house office has relocated under mango tree for over year as a result of inferno that destroyed the plant house and we asked why government has forsaken the plant house office.
13. Commissioner of Information Hon. ACB Agbazuere has given some questionable promotion without providing subvention to the effect of the promotion which is worsening BCA financial situation.
The Above points are what we brought for deliberations not to waste our time talking about a glorified flat built by the governor in the name of ultramodern office that cannot accommodate BCAs. Anyone denouncing our report should visit BCA and investigate himself.
We have been hearing Ultra modern projects, it is only when you get closer that you will know whether it is really ultramodern or not. Even their so called Ultra modern twin secretariat do not have toilet facilities for workers, No water, No generator, Electricity is not connected there, the workers mess up the bushes around, pregnant women in the secretariat are left on their own peril.
