A group known as Nigeria Young Professionals Forum, NYPF which monitored the last governorship election in Abia state has condemned the level of massive rigging that characterized the polls describing it as a show of shame.
Speaking during an interview with our correspondent , the South East Zonal Coordinator of the body and CEO of CEECON ENERGY (Oil and Gas) Ltd. Chima Desmond Anyaso said
“We were ashamed with what we saw on the days of the election, it was nothing but an open robbery, a mindless rape of democracy, We the NYPF southeast monitored the elections in all the 17 LGAs in Abia and we have all that transpired both in video record and photos. We shall be available to testify of the election malpractice that took place.”
As days of gubernatorial election tribunal draws near, more revelation of electoral impunity that took place in the Ukwa Ngwa axis is been revealed, which automatically is putting more pressure on the PDP and their Gov. Elect Dr Okezie Ikpeazu.
