Yesterday, they were in charge. They called the shots in and around Aso Rock.
It was the same people who dared elevate a mere mortal couple to the position of the Almighty!
Any time there was a need to appoint Service Chiefs or Police Chiefs to states, they dictated who to be appointed.

The judiciary was in their pockets as highly revered Judges were on their pay roll.
Buying of jankara judgments was their past time.
The electoral body was like ordinary tissue paper to them.
They flaunted their closeness to Mama Piece as if it was the supernatural power that controlled the destinies of men and like slaves who love their chains, they traded their birthright for temporary meal tickets.
But suddenly, there is a SHIFT!
They lost all and like a flash of light, they fell from the top like the fallen lucifer and a third of the angels turned demons. Their kingdom is now below!
Stripped of all powers and left with just a grain of it, they have soon realised that the real taste of the pudding is in the eating.
A General has come to the rescue. No more executive lawlessness, judicial irascibility, administrative impunity and outright disregard for the rule of law.
The Service Chiefs have been changed while the new improved police has decided to embrace change and entrench professionalism.
The one who flouted laws is now crying for help. He says Orders of the Courts should be obeyed instead of violence.
He has become NEW now that old things have passed away and all things have become NEW!
The National Industrial Court in Bayelsa has spoken and there is confusion in the seat of power. The newly nominated SAN Chinwe Aguma lost out when his prayer to set aside the earlier Order was bluntly denied by the trial Judge.
He was sent on a mission and he failed. Rather than tell the truth, he chose to twist the truth.
Since the failed mission in Yenagoa yesterday, the powers that be in Rivers State Government House have become sleepless.
The major reason is not just the Order of the Court that the elected Chairmen should be reinstated, but the sudden turn of things inside Aso Rock. Who knows the next appointments coming?
Maybe it’s time for those who murdered sleep in the state not to sleep again.
Indeed, Gov. Wike and his ‘wise men’ will soon be forced to swallow the bitter pills they forced down the throat of others.
In the meantime, there is a “Judicial Anarchy” looming!
