Leader of Niger Delta Vigilante Cheif Ateke Tom a.k.a Area Father has turned Peacemaker in recent times in Rivers state,Puo Reports Exclusively Learnt.
His latest action may not be unconnected with the recent revocking of pipeline contracts awarded to some former Militant leader by Former President Jonathan,and the zero tolerance for corruption by President Mohammadu Buhari.
Checks revealed that Ateke Tom,has been appearing on radio and Television stations advising trouble makers to leave Rivers State alone,because Rivers State is a peaceful State,he was said to have initiated a move that made over 25 cultist in Khana Local Government to repent.
Chief Ateke is a cousin to former Nigerians First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan,who was alleged to have recruited some militias in her bid to ensure her husband was reelected back into office and that Nyesom Wike,emerges the Governor Of Rivers State by all means.
There were over 97 reported cases of politically masterminded killings in Rivers State during the electioneering period
