The Proceeding of the Rivers State Governorship Election Tribunal sitting is one that may never be predicted on its ruling following events within the Last 60 days.
Dakuku Adol Peterside who approached the Election petition since May 3 2015 has been melted with stiff resistance by the candidate of the PDP who is also the Rivers State Governor Barr.Nyesom Wike,Wike and his Counsels had filled not less than 7 Preliminary objections in a bid to ensure the Petition brought by Dakluku Peterside was struck out over a flimsy excuse,but that has not happened.
Former First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan was instrumental to the emergence of Wike as the Governor of Rivers State,she ensure all the security institutions in Rivers State were used for Wike’s Favour and that was why the AIG in charge of Calabar Mr.Tunde Ogunsaki was disgraced barely 24hrs to the election for arresting the DPO in charge of Kala Police Station.
Some questions that urgently needs answers are Below
Since the Creation of Rivers State,has the state been ruled by Opposition Party?
Can the Federal Government cope with an Opposition Governor in charge of Rivers State?
Can the APC which will likely hold on to power for the next years ahead,succeed in its plans without Rivers,which can boos the Electoral Strength in the South South?
Why did the Election Tribunal refused to rule on the Issue of Illegibility filled by Wike against Dakuku,even when the same Tribunal has ruled against APGA?
What will happen to the families of those killed during the Rivers Polls?
These and many more questions are still unanswerred.
Rivers State Governor who believes that what money cannot do,more money can do it,is leaving no stone upturned in his bid to remain in power as the Governor of Rivers State.
But since the Power that brought him to power has been sent packing,can Wike succeed in his bid to Remain at the Brick House?
Someone really need to answer these questions.
