Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson has activated political witch-hunt which is alien in the state to some of those he beliveed may be instrumental in stopping his second term bid to return back to the creek havens as Governor come December 5th 2015.
One of the First on the elimination list is Cheif Diekivie Bovie Ikiogha,a one time Commissioner for Agriculture under the defunct Timipre Sylva’s administration and a Former Chief Of Staff to Governor Seriake Dickson before their relationship entered a bittered stage following the controversial redeployment of Ikiogha to the Bayelsa State Abuja Liaison Office.
According to a source in Bayelsa State Government House who confided to PUO REPORTS the latest move to Punish Ikiogha by Dickson, a group known as Bayelsa Transparency & Accountability Forum (BTAF)– has been sponsored by the Governor to tarnish the image of Ikiogha, our source revealed that already One Comrade Goodluck Izonfade has gone on air to accuse Chief Ikiogha of embezzling over N 3B Agric Loan when he was Commissioner for Agriculture under Sylva’s Administration.
The Latest Move By Governor Seriake Dickson,PUO REPORTS gathered was the order given to some youths to burn down the private residence of Chief Ikiogha with the disguise that Farmers in Bayelsa state are angry with Him.
“Bayelsa Farmers have even organized to protest against this Chief Diekivie Ikiogha and may be forced to attack the personal property of Chief Diekivie Ikiogha in Yenagoa with full security cover” A Source Told PUO.
While it is not clear if Cheif Ikiogha has any intention to contest the December 5th 2015 Governorship Poll, insinuation in some quarters are pointing that if Ikiogha declares to run for the office of Bayelsa State Governor under the All Progressive Congress(APC) that may mark the end of Dickson’s reign in Bayelsa as governor, because Ikiogha is believed to be among the Kingmakers that brought Dickson as Governor of Bayelsa state.
Ikiogha had laid thousands of his supporters to the APC,is a strong ally of former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathn.
