Why Amaechi Came To Rivers State Today

PUO REPORTS has exclusively obtained the reason behind the visit of the Former Governor of Rivers State Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi to Portharcourt today.
Although when news of his visit was made public earlier today,there were insinuations in some quaters that the former Rivers State Governor came to meet with his supporters following the  recent appointment of Secretary to the Government of the Federation by President Mohammadu Buhari,a postilion which many of his supporter had expected he will be appointed to.

However,PUO REPORTS has gathered that the visit of Mr.Amaechi is not connected to the appointment of SGF,but commissioning of a church building which the former Governor of Rivers State built for Catholic Church Family in Portharcourt.

Amaechi who took some of his supporters by surprise,was said to have arrived the Portharcourt International Airport as early as 8am in a bid to beat up any ceremonial arrangement his loyal supporters may be planning to arrange for his visit.

According to a close aide of Amaechi,the Catholic Church family had fixed the commissioning of the Church built by Chibuike Amaechi Catholic Church(St. Vincent de Paul) today,which he was invited to perform the ceremony.
