Rivers State Governor Barr.Nyesom Wike has put to rest pressures,calls in some quaters over the declaration of his Assets,the governor maintained that since he has declared his assets to the relevant agencies,there was no need making it public.

Wike who spoke through his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity Mr.Opunabo Inko-Taria stated that although asset declaration is being used by people who has never held public post before to siphon money since most of them can declare what they dont have in order to loot public funds,it is a show of stewardship for public servants to do so.
Recall that there has been calls in some quaters for the Rivers State Governor to declare his assets Public
