BREAKING: INEC Abandones CASE At Rivers Tribunal

The Independent National Electoral Commision(INEC) few minutes ago abandoned their case at the Rivers State National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja in the case of Magnus Abe Vs Olaka Wogu and Barry Mpigi Vs Jacobson Nbina for Rivers South East Senatorial District and Eleme Tai,Oyibo Federal Constituency

At the resumed hearing today Friday 18th September 2015,INEC was expected to bring forth their witnesses to further prove that truely election held in Rivers South-East Senatorial District and Eleme/Tai/Oyibo Federal Constituency,but shocking to the Tribunal,Counsel to INEC said they have no more witness and are willing to close their case,the Judge obliged to their prayers.

Recall that INEC and PDP were given 5days each to defend their case at the Tribunal,following the conclusion of the case from the Petitioners of the two Petitions,PUO REPORTS learnt that INEC only brought one witness just for a day,leaving four days with no witness.

Magnus Abe a former Senator Representing Rivers South East and Barry Mpigi are challenging the elections of Senator Olaka Wogu and Hon.Jacobson Nbina of Rivers South East Senatorial District and Eleme/Tai/Oyibo Federal Constituency.
