Nigerians has accused the SENATE President Senator Bukola Saraki of attempt to blackmail President Mohammadu Buhari into quashing out his false declaration of Assets case which is pending to be decided at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
The SENATE was arraigned at the code of conduct Tribunal in Abuja over allegations of falsification of his Assest declaration form submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau when he was governor dating back to 2003,hearing on the case was adjourned between 21-23rd of October for hearing.

Some Nigerians who are concerned over the continuous delays in the screening of former governor of Rivers State Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi,took their anger to the Facebook page of the Senate President accused him of trying to blackmail President Mohammadu Buhari into exchanging his trial at the code of conduct Tribunal with the Screening of Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.
“Former Rivers state governor suffered and risk his life for the seat you are occupying today.
If APC had not won the presidency of this nation, will you have emerged Senate President?
Chibuike Amaechi is innocent until found guilty by a competent court of law.

Amaechi’s screening has been postponed twice,due to the inability of the SENATE Commitee on Ethics,Privileges and Public Petitions Commitee to submit its report on the corruption allegations levelled against Amaechi by one Livingstone Wechie of the INTEGRITY GROUP.
Although the commitee has met,but their report has not been made public by the SENATE
