Despite the claims by the Abia State governor Dr.OKEZIE IKPEAZU that his administration last month cleared all salary owed to civil Servants in the state,the management of Abia State Polytechnic has embarked on an indefinite Strike,PUO REPORTS learnt.
Lecturers in the sate owned Polytechnic has asked their students to go home,saying that until that salaries are paid,non of them will return to Classroom.
A final year student of the institution who spoke to PUO REPORTS in Aba on Tuesday evening,described the development as regrettable, saying that most of them ought to finalize their Project Defense this week.
