The Minister of Water Resources, Alhaji Suleiman Adamu, has assured Nigerians that President Muhammadu Buhari would deliver on his campaign promises, but pleaded for patience. Adamu who spoke in Dutse on Thursday in an interview with newsmen, after a stakeholders’ meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said Buhari inherited many problems.
The minister said the President needed some time to solve many socio-economic problems affecting the nation.
Adamu assured that Buhari would fulfill his promise of boosting agricultural activities in the country to reduce rural – urban migration and increase food production.
According to him, the implementation of the programme would create wealth and gainful employment for youths and enhance industrialisation in the country. The minister, who identified limited employment opportunities as one of the causes of conflicts in the country, said the present administration was poised to solve the problem.VANGUARD
