Ekpeye Solidarity Forum has given Reasons why their Son,Senator Osinakachukwu Thankgod Ideozu should be re-elected as Senator Representing Rivers West Senatorial District in the upcoming February 6th National and State Assembly Re-run in Rivers State.
The group in communique signed by its President General Comrade Echikwa Solomon on Sunday in Ahoada,revealed that since 1999,this was the first time a proud son of Ahoada and Ekpeye had sat on one of the Seats in the Red Chambers.

The group revealed that the First Senator who represented Rivers West Senatorial District Late Senator Ibiapuye Martyns Yellowe came from Bakana, Degema Local Government Area, Rivers State while that of Senator Wilson Asinobi Ake who represented the Rivers West senatorial district from 2007 to 2015 came from Erema in Ogba-Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area.

The group stated that for Equity and Fairness,Ahoada and Ekpeye which is the oldest Local Government Area in the Senatorial District should be allowed to represent the Rivers West Senatorial District in the National Assembly and that a man in whom the people of Ekpeye Land are well pleased Senator Osinakachukwu Ideozu should take a bow and go to the Senate.

The group however assured the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Rivers West Senatorial District Senator Osinakachukwu Ideozu of massive support from voters in the Area come Saturday 6th February 2016
