A Port Harcourt High Court Presided over by Justice A Enebeli has restrained the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly from Inaugurating Hon Victoria Nyeche today pending the hearing of a suit brought before it by Livingstone Wechie seeking an order of interlocutory injunction against her.
PUO REPORTS Gathered that Mr Livingstone Wechie had approached the Court in Suit No PHC/893/2016 seeking an order stopping the Swearing of Hon Victoria Wechie as Lawmaker Representing Phalga Constituency 2 in the Rivers State house of Assembly for forging the Assembly Letter head when she was not yet a Member of the House.
Recall that Hon Victoria Nyechie has protested against the Screening and Confirmation of the Current Chief Judge of Rivers State over claims that it was illegal for 9 members to sit and confirm her appointment
