The Lawmaker Representing Ahoada East Constituency 2 in the Rivers State House of Assembly Hon Ehie Ogerenye Edison has assured the people of Upata Kingdom that those who perpetrated the arson in Upata Land must be punished
Hon Edison while speaking with PUO REPORTS on Telephone Wednesday 4th May 2016 declared that regardless of the group or interest the arsonists were protecting,those who carried out the heinous crime in Ula-Upata and Edeoha Communities in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State must be brought to book and Punished.

The Lawmaker apparently angered by the beheaded of people by yet to be identified gunmen on Sunday said the life of every Upata Son and Daughter is Supreme and must be protected even if it requires that last drop of his Blood
He revealed that full scale Investigation into the Killing has been commenced by Security agencies in Rivers State as he also stated that the Rivers State Government has assured the people of adequate security

Ask if the view of the Rivers State Police Commissioner Mr Musa Kimo( who claimed that only 4 Lives were lost) is in tandem with his own,the lawmaker told PUO REPORTS that he is not a security expert to ascertain how many Lives that were lost in the attack on Ula-Upata and Edeoha Communities
Hon Edison also asked his people who has fled the area over fears of the unknown to return to their respective homes as Secuirty Agencies has been mobilsied to secure the entire Ahoada East Local Government Area.
