The Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi has called on youth and community leaders to fish out strangers and individuals causing unrest, perpetrating violence and threatening peaceful and harmonious coexistence in their community.

The Deputy Speaker gave the charge yesterday in his office, when he received leaders of Ashaka Community in Ndokwa East LGA of the state, in his office at Asaba. Osanebi noted that the interest of the present administration of Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa was the holistic prosperity of Deltans, and called on community leaders to be veritable tools in peace building in order to facilitate prosperity, noting that development and prosperity could not be experienced in an atmosphere of rancour.
Osanebi who frowned at the reports of security challenges in Ashaka, challenged the youth leaders in Ashaka to do their best and quickly fish out strangers and enemies of peace in the locality, saying that they must justify the receipt of monies from Operation Feed Your Neighbour. “Let’s make all efforts to make Ashaka peaceful. Talk to your youths; they should know the individuals threatening the peace in Ashaka”, he said
