Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike on Tuesday appointed Joseph Yobo as his Senior Special Assistant on Sports Development.
According to the Special Assistant to the Governor on Electronic Media Simeon Nwakaudu said the former Nigeria captain’s appointment takes immediate effect.
Yobo marked his retirement from football with a testimonial match in Port Harcourt on Friday.
