Following the expiration of the Ex Parter Order Justice K.N Ogbonnaya granted to the ex-communicated former General Superintendent of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Chief Dr Paul Emeka, the Judge has dashed Paul Emeka’s hope of stopping his trial.
Recall that on the 22nd of June,Justice K.N Ogbonnaya of the FCT High Court 34 had granted an Ex Parte Order restraining Justice Umar Yusuf Kargarko of the Upper Area Court from further proceedings on the case pending the determination of his Appeal against the February 4th 2016 Order asking the Nigeria Police to arrest and produce him for trial
Lawyers to Chief Dr Paul Emeka were unable to serve the Incorporated Trustees of Assemblies Of God Nigeria throughout the 7 Days validity period of the Order.
As a result, the Hon. Judge gave an order for the service to be pasted on the gates of the National Secretariat of Assemblies of God Nigeria, No. R8, Ozubulu Street, Independence Layout, Enugu, Nigeria and at the gate of the Evangel Camp, Okpoto, Ebonyi State.
The case has been adjourned to the 22nd of September, 2016 for hearing while the Upper Area Court will be coming up on the 26th of July 2016
